Our client, a healthcare company, is looking for a reliable Assistant Financial Controller responsible for providing high-level support to corporate controllers as they manage a company's accounting and financial activities.

The ideal candidate will assist in developing a work plan and schedule to meet the company's financial goals, as well as identify potential financial risks and recommend corrective actions. 


  • Manage the general accounting functions and assist in the completion of accounting tasks and activities, general journal planning and review, financial reports, and forecast reports.
  • Prepare timely financial reports and bank reconciliations of all accounts, including sales tax reporting, general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and year-end audit preparation
  • Assist the Controller with the daily banking information and requirements to ensure a clean and timely month and year-end review/audit
  • Responsible for the financial statements of the subsidiaries’ companies as required by the financial controller
  • Coordinate with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues before completing financial statements and reports
  • Handle and complete special projects in relation to accounting tasks and activities as it arises


  • 3+ years of working experience as an Assistant Financial Controller
  • With accounting software knowledge, such as QuickBooks, and Spreadsheets, is required for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical analysis and numerical abilities to process financial reports proficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, people management, and strong people skills
  • Demonstrated time management, detail-oriented and a strong commitment to personal and organizational accountability
  • Demonstrate compliance with regulatory guidance and an understanding of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information about the organization
