Our client, a leading rental brokerage company, is looking for a Rental Agent Manager with extensive operations expertise to oversee and mentor a team of rental brokers who offer leases of residential properties throughout NYC to prospective tenants.

The successful candidate must have excellent brokerage agent management and communication skills, as well as strong knowledge of the real estate industry to ensure that the brokerage business meets or exceeds its financial and operational goals. 


  • Managing a team of brokers, developing and implementing strategies to increase profitability, and providing professional and accurate advice to real estate clients
  • Overseeing transactions between real estate brokers and tenants, making sure that their obligations include preparing contracts and clarifying all specifics, negotiating rental costs, and attending to each party's demands as they arise during talks.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the team and develop and implement innovative operations-based solutions to improve their strategies and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain a network of professional contacts and support the team by providing them with leads to add to their pipeline of prospective clients
  • Keep abreast of real estate industry developments and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Establish clear targets and plans that the team of skilled brokers can use to organize their work, set priorities, and achieve their objectives
  • Manage day to day pipe line of brokerage agents


  • 3+ years of experience as a Brokerage Manager with proven success in building and operating high-performing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of brokerage processes, procedures, and operations
  • Extensive experience in directing and creating innovative strategies to increase productivity and sales results of the team
  • Expertise in developing and operating relationships
  • Demonstrate ability to recognize, seize, and use business opportunities, market trends, and company strategies to ensure the brokerage business meets or exceeds its financial and operational goals.
  • Exceptional command of English for both verbal and written communication in order to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of rental brokers
  • Demonstrate compliance with regulatory guidance and understanding of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information of the organization
