Our client, a P&C insurance wholesaler, is seeking a Senior Associate Broker to work under a VP.
The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with brokerages and other clients, as well as working with carriers to manage quotes, document delivery, binding, and invoicing.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and services new and renewal policies from quoting, binding, billing, and throughout the company policy term
- Reviews applications for completeness and requests missing information from the retail agent, when required
- Follows up on new and renewal quotes in an effort to maximize all new business quotes and retain renewals
- Prepares and delivers the quote and policies to the retail agents
- Requests changes to policies as instructed by the agent
- Maintains compliance with the agency's established processes and ensures that all client information is kept confidential
- Keeps up to date with the various products and services the agency represents
- Provides proactive and solutions-oriented customer service to all internal and external queries
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an Associate Broker with expertise in commercial insurance
- P&C License or equivalent industry experience;
- Experience working with AIM (Vertafore) preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate and build trusted relationships with all levels of staff and external contacts
- Demonstrate an array of technical and soft skills, including the capacity to multitask while remaining incredibly accurate and detail-oriented, as well as the ability to develop solutions for solving particular problems.
- Must be highly motivated, fast-paced, and goal-oriented individuals who can provide excellent customer service to increase value-added services
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new computer software systems and CRM are required
