Our client, a flexible film packaging manufacturing company, is looking for an Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for generating new business, servicing existing accounts, providing sales presentations, and processing orders for clients.
The ideal candidate must have prior extensive sales experience in marketing and promoting film packaging, as well as the capacity to establish, build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Responsibilities:
- Expand the sales volume and profits within the territory by using effective pre-call planning and various customer sales methods including door-to-door, cold calling, actual presentations, etc.
- build a strong prospecting plan to build sales opportunities, drive sales revenue and increase market share by managing a defined territory
- Establish rapport with potential sales leads, travel to meet with prospective clients, and strive to convert one-time sales into long-term beneficial relationships
- · Create sales pitches that highlight detailed features and benefits of the company's products, as well as niche marketing to show leads that closing accounts can benefit their business
- Provide the best customer experience by giving an excellent hands-on explanation and demonstration of the product you are offering, including after-sales assistance and coordination
- Develops client referrals by establishing and maintaining a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads in order to generate and maximize sales and market opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of solid outside salesman or outside sales representative experience, preferably in the flexible film packaging manufacturing industry
- Understanding of user experience and how to create a positive overview of educational software for the potential customers
- Must be highly motivated, fast-paced, and goal-oriented individuals who can provide world-class service to our customers in cold calling, qualifying leads, positioning value-added services, and closing business
- Demonstrate excellent customer service including promoting products and have the ability to deal with a diverse customer base
- Experience with common customer management relationship software and platforms
- Possess excellent prospecting, presentation, and networking skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new computer software systems and CRM are required
