Our client, a leading IT company, is looking for a Level 2 Support Engineer with advanced diagnosis skills of technical issues related to end-user hardware & software and network devices to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate for this role must have a strong understanding of computer systems and networks, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.


  • Provide Level 2 technical support across different individuals, departments, and external parties including installing and configuring hardware and software components and troubleshooting network issues
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, check, and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products
  • Directly communicates with client’s teams and will liaise closely with internal teams to reproduce and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and data cleansing of workstations, devices, and other peripheral hardware and software
  • Documenting issues and the problem-solving process, including all decisions and actions, were taken up until a solution was reached, in a knowledge-base format
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, providing a second-level response to customer inquiries, and escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary


  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Level 2 Support Engineer, IT Support, or any related field
  • Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with L2/L3 Switching/Routing, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, security consulting, SSL, etc.
  • Strong TCP/IP networking skills to perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems
  • In-depth understanding of protocol and network analyzers;
  • Expertise in the software development process and lifecycle including the role of customer support and sustaining product engineering in that process.
  • Ability to work under stressful circumstances and deadline pressure, expert multi-tasker, and can work quickly and efficiently to complete tasks on time.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills are required to interact and communicate with external or internal partners
  • Ability to collaborate across members of the same team and cross-functional teams alike
