Our client, a big player in the insurance and financial industry, is looking for a business developer / Sales expert.

The right candidate must be a goal-oriented individual, sales professional, who is passionate, self-driven, and committed with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives, to sell, and market the company's superior, differentiated insurance and financial products to existing clients and new customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, negotiating, and signing deals with new partners to build out new revenue streams for Assurance
  • Coordinating among multiple internal Account Management teams to launch and manage new partnerships; teams include marketing, engineering, legal, and compliance
  • Conducting business and market evaluations periodically to identify and assess growth opportunities and to influence product development priorities
  • Anticipating potential business challenges within each partnership relationship and proposing solutions and recommendations to move the business forward
  • Staying relevant with competitive insight and Passfeeding industry information, trends, forward vision, and perspective
  • Building a communication plan to keep the team informed on Marketplace status on a regular basis
  • Managing and growing the pipeline of potential and strategic partnership targets

Skills:

  • 4+ years of business experience, preferably in business development partnerships
  • Experienced within the insurance industry is a plus
  • Exceptional phone, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrives in a high-tech, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Exudes enthusiasm, a positive attitude, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrable high-energy initiative.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up.
  • Track record of consistent and tenacious high-volume outbound efforts to build a pipeline of prospects through calls, social media, email, etc.
