Location: Brooklyn NY
Salary: $55K + Commissions
Our client, an HVAC Company, is looking for a results-driven Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for generating new business leads, retaining existing accounts, building prospects with sales presentations, negotiating deals, and obtaining sales contracts.
The ideal candidate will establish, grow, and maintain a network of sources from which to gather new sales leads as well as create a sales strategy to strengthen new and existing customer relationships.
- Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned sales territory by managing, presenting, and negotiating with clients, generating leads, and qualifying new prospects' accounts
- Demonstrate, present, and communicate to current and potential clients the functions, features, benefits, pricing, and advantages of the products to meet their needs
- Expand the sales volume and profits within the territory by using effective pre-call planning and various customer sales methods including door-to-door, cold calling, actual presentations, etc.
- Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads to generate and maximize the sales and market opportunities
- Provide the best customer experience by giving an excellent hands-on explanation and demonstration of the product you are offering
- Develop client referrals by making sure to put emphasis on quality customer service to ensure clients’ satisfaction
- 2+ years of solid experience as an Outside Sales Representative in a business-to-business environment; Educational Sales experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new computer software systems and CRM are required
- Must be highly motivated, fast-paced, and goal-oriented individuals who can provide world-class service to our customers in cold calling, qualifying leads, positioning value-added services, and closing business
- Demonstrate excellent customer service including promoting products and have the ability to deal with a diverse customer base
- Possess excellent prospecting, presentation, and networking skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
