Our client, a service-based company, servicing the medical industry, is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO).

The right candidate must be trustworthy, systematic, and process-oriented with superior emotional intelligence and great growth potential. A background in the Medical industry is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth and rapid growth
  • Liaising with leadership to make decisions for operational activities and setting strategic goals
  • Supervising staff from different departments and providing feedback
  • Evaluating regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and applying improvements
  • Managing relationships/agreements with clients
  • Working together with key participants to compile budgets
  • Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction
  • Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass projected revenue
  • Controlling company costs and introducing tactical initiatives to address loss
  • Evaluating overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics
  • Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices
  • Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants
  • Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities
  • Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner
  • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements

Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing a complex enterprise's operations and strategies
  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise
  • Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully
  • Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
  • A systematic thinker and detail-oriented process advocate
