Our client, a leading mobility infrastructure company, is on the hunt for a Sales Manager responsible for managing B2B and government contract sales with targets including architects and developers, private school systems, as well as state and local governments.

The ideal candidate must have the extensive industry knowledge and the ability to generate and pursue sales for the company. The position will be based in Edison, NJ, but is open to discussing flexibility for the right candidate. 

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting market research, analyzing bidding needs, and developing sales plans to target new opportunities
  • Design a business development plan and ideas for the company to highlight its mobility infrastructure services
  • Monitor market and competitor activity and provide consistent feedback to the organization on the needs of potential customers and partners
  • Process bids, paying particular attention to the compliance and administrative aspects of such bids, from pre-positioning until the conclusion of contract discussions
  • Negotiate final agreements with prospective accounts and clients, including the creation of documentation, partnerships, and contracts
  • Collaborate with the senior executive, engineering, operations, and marketing departments to find suitable partners and customers
  • Proactively generate and pursue sales leads to develop new sources of revenue from corporate customers to meet or exceed the annual quota

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of solid experience as a Sales Manager preferably in the same industry
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role, preferably in the mobility infrastructure industry
  • Superior industry knowledge, including the handling of government contract sales of architects and developers, private school systems, and government contracts.
  • Ability to build long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of clients and establish connections with important business executives is necessary to provide excellent customer service.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage bidding processes, increase the opportunity of sales and maximize efficiency to support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software
